July 2026 Farm Meta Overview

Farm towers generate in-round Tix that fund upgrades, revives, and emergency summons during a match. This tier list ranks economy units after the July 2026 balance window—not how much Tix they cost to summon, but how much they return per wave.

Economy slots compete directly with DPS and support tiles. The question is never "Should I farm?" but "When does one farm tower pay for itself before the boss wave that ends my run?"

Use this page alongside our DPS and support tier lists to build loadouts that survive Hard mode while still compounding Tix income into late-wave upgrades.

S-Tier: Tycoon

Tycoon dominates S-tier farm rankings with passive Tix generation that scales each wave. One Tycoon placed before wave 10 typically refunds its deploy cost by wave 18–22 on Crossroads Normal, earlier on Hard where kill bounties are higher.

Slot Tycoon on a safe tile away from chokepoints—economy towers draw low priority from enemies but still die to stray boss AoE. The Crossroads back-plaza and Doomspire rear platform are standard Tycoon anchors.

Tycoon synergizes with Helper Bot buffs: buffed Tycoon ticks generate measurably more Tix per wave, making central Helper Bot placement a hidden farm multiplier. Upgrade Tycoon once early, then shift Tix spending to DPS upgrades until the next economy milestone.

A-Tier: Scout Early Economy

Scout earns A-tier farm status as a dual-role unit—budget ranged DPS with bonus Tix on early-wave kills before Heroic towers arrive. Scout pays for itself fastest in waves 1–15 when enemy HP pools are low and kill bounty per Tix spent is highest.

Treat Scout as a temporary economy bridge: deploy on an elevated tile covering the first path segment, collect early Tix, then sell or replace with Mage once your farm engine is stable. Scout does not outscale Tycoon past wave 25.

Scout fits beginner Hard loadouts where players lack Tycoon copies. Pair one Scout with one Tycoon instead of double Scout—redundant early DPS without Tycoon passive income stalls boss waves.

Farm vs DPS Priority in Hard Mode

Hard mode demands one farm tower by wave 8 at latest. Deploy Tycoon after your first DPS anchor (Minigunner or Scout) but before wave 10 boss checks. Skipping farm until wave 15 leaves you Tix-starved during Yorick and Telamon upgrade spikes.

If Hard boss waves wipe your board, farm income determines whether you can rebuild—runs with Tycoon recover; runs without it often end at the first leak. Prioritize Tycoon over a second DPS until in-round Tix income exceeds 200 per wave.

After Tycoon is placed and upgraded once, flip priority to DPS. Mage or Noli must be fielded before wave 30 Hard; farm without kill power loses to scaling HP regardless of Tix bank.

Farm vs DPS Priority in Endless Mode

Endless mode shifts the farm calculus toward sustained income over burst. Keep Tycoon alive past wave 40—sell budget DPS before selling Tycoon because passive generation compounds while kill bounty flatlines on repeat escort patterns.

Do not slot a second farm tower in Endless unless your DPS core (Mage, Noli, Mech, Helper Bot) is fully deployed and upgraded. Endless wave 50+ checks fail from DPS shortage, not Tix shortage, once Tycoon is active.

Scout farm value drops sharply in Endless after wave 20. Replace Scout with Forest Mage or Rocket debuff while keeping Tycoon on a protected rear tile. Revive Tix should come from Tycoon income plus code boosts, not from selling your economy anchor.
