Why Players Search for Rocket
Rocket is the Epic splash-and-debuff tower that weakens noobs so Mage magma spikes and Noli burst actually finish the pack. Community tier lists still put Rocket in A-tier support (some S-tier hybrid lists) because a slow-plus-weaken on the lane is worth more than a third cheap DPS.
You summon Rocket from the standard banner (~10.28 percent Epic). It is not a Forsaken Void unit and it is not the Hyperlaser Sniper. If a video thumbnail says “Rocket code,” it is wrong—there is no ROCKET promo string in August 2026.
Place Rocket on elevation that sees two path bends. Ground-level Rocket underperforms the same upgrades on a rooftop or Doomspire ledge. Pair the tile with Helper Bot so the buff radius covers both Rocket and your main DPS.
Loadouts and Upgrade Order
Standard core: Tycoon for Tix, Helper Bot center, Rocket on the long sightline, then Mage or Noli as the carry. Rocket’s job is to keep escorts in cones and to soften named tanks before the boss wave. Do not upgrade Rocket to max before your carry has its damage breakpoints.
On Crossroads and Happy Home, the house roofs are the default Rocket tiles. On SFOTH and Doomspire, use the high platforms that look down the main drop. On Forsaken Catacombs, hug the choke so splash actually hits stacked escorts.
In Endless, Rocket stays useful through Yorick stomps (waves 10/20/40) and Telamon fire rings (wave 40 and 110) because slowed packs spend longer in Mage range. If you leak, it is usually a dead Tycoon or a Rocket parked with no lane vision—not a missing fourth DPS.
Rocket vs Other Support
Helper Bot is still the S-tier support. Rocket does not replace it. Dusekkar shields keep clusters alive during stuns; Rocket makes the cluster die faster. Chance (Void, collab) is a card-buff luxury—Rocket is the reliable Epic you can actually roll.
Trade for Rocket only if you already have Tycoon and a carry. A duplicate Rocket is weak trade bait compared with Mage or Yorick copies.
