Why Tycoon Is Mandatory Economy
Tycoon is the Epic farm tower that prints bonus Tix while waves run. Community farm lists still rank it A-tier and effectively mandatory once you leave the starter Scout. Without Tycoon, Crossroads Normal still pays, but you will not bank ten-pulls fast enough for Yorick or Gunner shop unlocks.
Place Tycoon before wave one on a safe interior tile. It does not need lane vision. If Tycoon dies, the bonus stops—protect it with spacing so Yorick stomps and Citadel splash do not clip the farm.
Tycoon is an Epic summon (~10.28 percent) and also appears in the shop for Tix. Buy it before cosmetic skins if your account still has no farm slot.
Farm Routes with Tycoon
Crossroads Normal is the teaching map: Tycoon center, Gunner or Minigunner on straights, Helper Bot overlapping both. Chain matches. After Hard is stable, move the same core to Forsaken Rift so Tokens and Tix rise together until September 4.
Do not take Tycoon to Chaos Canyon or Citadel Hard until a Heroic holds the lane. A wiped match pays nothing. One Tycoon per player in multiplayer is enough; four farms starve DPS.
Old “1,000 Tix per match, no Heroics” videos are patched. Measure success in leak-free clears per hour, not viral thumbnails.
Spend the Extra Tix
Priority: Forsaken shop skins still missing, then a Yorick ten-pull if you lack a Heroic, then Gunner from the shop. Redeem 1stBirthday and the remaining Tix codes before the first farm hour of the day.
Shopkeeper Tycoon skins from older Endless passes are cosmetics. They do not increase the Tix tick. Do not confuse them with a stronger farm kit.
